Differential (100 Ohm) TDR Rise Time and Bandwidth Performace Testing


A Tektroinx DSA8200 with a 50 GHz TDR Sampling plug-in was used to drive a Pico Second Pulse Lab 4022TDRT 9ps differential pulser which yielded a measured 17ps TDR system rise time when the TDR pulse was connected to the Gigaprobes™.  The measured rise time on the output of the Gigaprobes™ was better than 30GHz.  This probe is ideal for verifying a 10Gbit Backplane.
