GigaProbes is a 30 GHz Multi-Mode Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) probe that can operate as a variable pitch 100 ohm or 50 ohm probe. GigaProbes is available as a one probe (single) or two probe (dual) kit. Each kit includes accessories for precise settings of the probe tip pitch, connecting to popular probe manipulators for hands-free probing, or attachment of EZ-Grip adapters for hand probing. The kits also include accessories for converting the probe from a balanced 100 ohm probe to a 50 ohm probe. The kits also include a set of SMA-SMA 12” cables and a comprehensive operator’s manual.
Sampling Mainframes can contain different performance TDR plug-ins. Below is a matrix of TDR modules that are compatible with GigaProbes. The TDR rise time out of the probe can vary based on the bandwidth of the cables connecting the probes to the TDR modules, and the rise time of the TDR modules themselves.
